The debates on the energy and Medicare bills reminded me that growing old ain’t so bad if I can be old, clear-headed and not in the Senate.

Christmas is more than giving and getting, it’s a time for being – being kind and generous toward others; being all we can be that’s positive; and being grateful to God for giving us the opportunity and capacity to do so.

Why can’t the Democrats just draw straws for their nominee, and spare us those ugly primary elections, and the self-serving blather from the mouths of the candidates?
